Note: change "username" to your user name; AppData folder is hidden.
2. Open "uoconfig_mp.cfg" with a text editor.
3. Edit the following lines accordingly:
16:9:
seta cg_fov 96.4183
seta r_mode -1
seta r_customheight 1080
seta r_customwidth 1920
16:10:
seta cg_fov 90.3951
seta r_mode -1
seta r_customheight 1200
seta r_customwidth 1920
Note: replace customheight and customwidht with your monitor's.
4. Go to the following directory:
32bit:
C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\Main
64bit:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Call of Duty\Main
5. Open "config_mp.cfg" with a text editor.
6. Edit the following lines accordingly:

IMPORTANT: when you go in the game menu, it may not show the correct resolution in the options, but it will be in game. Do not change your resolution in the game. If you do, you will lose widescreen, and have to do this all over again.
