1. Open Services by pressing Win+R to open Run window and enter "services.msc" then press OK.
2. Search "WebClient" in the services list and make sure it is not disabled (default value is "Manual (Trigger Start)", just to be sure, you can change it to "Automatic").
3. Open Registry Editor by pressing Win+R to open Run window and enter "regedit" then press OK.
4. Go to the following folder:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Parameters
5. Change "BasicAuthLevel" key value to 2 (if the key is not present, create it as a DWORD key).
6. Change "FileAttributesLimitInBytes" key value to ffffffff (in Hexadecimal) or 4294967295 (in Decimal).
7. Change "FileSizeLimitInBytes" key value to ffffffff (in Hexadecimal) or 4294967295 (in Decimal).
8. Restart the computer (you cannot skip this step, logging out is not enough either).
9. Navigate to "This PC" in Windows Explorer.
10. Right click on an empty area near the drives and select "Add a network location (keyboard shortcut: Alt+C Alt+L)
11. Click Next -> Next then enter the URL in the field "Internet or network address:" like the following:
    http://server_address:port/shared_folder
    IMPORTANT: you must include the port number in the URL!
    NOTE: you can skip the "shared_folder", it is possible to map the root folder.
12. Enter your login creditentials in the window appearing.

If you get the following errormessages:

• "The file size exceeds the limit allowed and cannot be saved." - registry key in step 6 is not modified
• "The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another." - registry key in step 5 is not modified

How to change Remote Desktop port number

1. Launch regedit by pressing Win+R and enter "regedit" in the field.
2. Go to the following folder:

3. Open the entry named "PortNumber".
4. On the right side of the window, under Base part, set the radio button from hexadecimal to decimal and then enter the desired port number in the left side.

IMPORTANT: when you go in the game menu, it may not show the correct resolution in the options, but it will be in game. Do not change your resolution in the game. If you do, you will lose widescreen, and have to do this all over again.

How to install Avatar & Kinect update to Xbox 360 RGH

1. Download the latest update files from the Microsoft website:

2. Format a USB stick to FAT32 (tool for formatting here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/shyewduv7h5ws23/FAT32_formatter.exe)
IMPORTANT NOTE: this USB stick must have at least 256 MB storage capacity!

3. Extract the ZIP archive content to the formatted USB stick.
4. Rename "$SystemUpdate" to "$$ystemUpdate".
5. Go to NXE by booting up your Xbox 360 while holding RB on your controller or by pressing  XBOX  > "Settings" tab > "System Settings" (select "Yes" if asked "Are you sure you want to exit?") >  B 
6. Insert the USB stick in your Xbox 360.

There are different messages that can show up now:

1. "An update has been found. To apply it, you need to restart your console. Do you want to restart now?"
   Select "No" and double-check the dashboard and the downloaded update versions. If no mismatch is found, try reflashing your NAND and retry these steps.
2. "To proceed, security and program updates are required. System updates will be added to ensure security and proper functionality. If you decline, you will be returned to the Xbox Dashboard. Do you want to accept the update?"
   Select "Yes" and wait for the installation to complete. Your Xbox 360 will restart when finished.

How to update Xbox 360 RGH kernel

IMPORTANT NOTE: this post assumes you have FreeStyle Dashboard / F3 /Aurora installed!

1. Obtain your CPU Key. If you already have it, you can skip this step.

1.1 Launch DashLaunch on your Xbox 360 from File Manager from the following location:

%Installation Drive%\DashLaunch\default.xex

1.2 Press  LB  to Miscellaneous tab and select "System Info".

1.3 Write down your CPU Key. It is recommended to save it to a file or cloud for later updates.

2. Obtain your current NAND dump to update it to latest kernel version. If you already have it, you can skip this step.

NOTE: it is recommended to store this program on your Xbox 360 in the same folder as DashLaunch folder is, for easier later use.

2.1 Download Flash360:

2.3 Launch the "default.xex" file.

2.4 Press  X  to "Backup current Nand to file". File will be located near "default.xex" file named "flashdmp.bin".

2.5 Press  BACK  twice to exit from Flash360.

2.6 Copy "flashdmp.bin" to your computer.

3. Create your updated kernel image.

3.1. Download, extract and launch the latest xeBuild GUI:

3.2 Press "Open" to browse your previously extracted "flashdmp.bin".

3.3 Type or paste your previously extracted CPU Key to "CPUKey" box.

IMPORTANT: make sure you have the same "Kernel version" selected as it is in the name of the downloaded dashboard filename in step 1!

NOTE: at this point, everything should have green tick instead of red cross on the bottom of the screen.

3.4 Press "Generate hacked image" button to start building your kernel. When finished press "Yes" to close the program. The generated file will be in the same directory as "flashdmp.bin" named "updflash.bin".

4. Flash your updated NAND dump to the system.

4.1 Copy "updflash.bin" file to Flash360 folder, near "default.xex" file.

4.2 Launch "default.exe" of Flash360 on your Xbox 360.

4.3 Press  A  to "Write updflash.bin to Nand".

4.4 Press  B  to "Raw flash without keeping current kv/config".

4.5 Press  START  to ignore and continue.

4.6 Press  A  to begin.

4.7 Press  BACK  twice to shut down your Xbox 360.

4.8 Turn your Xbox 360 back on.

5. Locate the Microsoft Games folder and create shortcuts wherever you want for easier access.
